Climate-Positive Sustainable Fertilizers

Lucent BioSciences recently conducted a greenhouse gas emission study that revealed the efficacy of the brand's Soileos sustainable fertilizer product in removing a net average of 2.3 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent from the atmosphere per acre of farmland. The results are derived from both controlled and real-world agricultural tests. Soileos is manufactured from repurposed agricultural waste materials and avoids the use of microplastics and synthetic binding agents. The findings of Lucent BioSciences' study suggest that the application of this sustainable fertilizer can transform conventional crop cultivation for staples like wheat and corn into a process that has a net positive effect on the climate. Lucent BioSciences is also reporting a substantial increase in the commercial adoption of Soileos. As public awareness grows regarding the carbon footprint of the food supply chain, products grown with such a fertilizer could eventually be marketed as 'climate-positive.'
