The 'AW26 Collection' by JIWYA debuted at Paris Fashion Week on March 5, presenting a sustainability-focused fashion line inspired by natural plant growth and ecological design principles. Titled 'Lata,' the collection draws from "the movement of climbing vines and flowering creepers, translating organic forms into flowing silhouettes, soft structures, and intricate embroidery that reflect nature’s resilience and adaptability."

Founded by textile scientists Aishwarya Lahariya and Adhiraj Shinde, JIWYA emphasizes environmentally responsible material sourcing and production. The collection is created using 100% plant-based materials and zero-waste textiles, including handloom fabrics and natural dyes derived from agricultural byproducts. Moreover, many fabrics remain unbleached to preserve their natural texture while reducing chemical processing.

Additionally, all the pieces are handspun and handwoven by artisan communities in India, supporting traditional craft while limiting industrial energy use. By combining heritage textile techniques with plant-based materials, the collection highlights sustainable luxury and circular design practices in contemporary fashion.
