Bristol Airport Enhances its Sustainable Supply Chain Practices

Bristol Airport is introducing a new project called Supply Chain Sustainability Charter, which priortizes sustainable practices across its supply chain operations. This effort will focus on enhancing carbon reduction, waste minimization, and energy efficiency to help contribute to global sustainability efforts and allow the company's entire value chain to to meet its goal of achieving net zero status by 2050. Under this new program, Bristol Airport will also monitor direct and indirect emissions.

"Bristol Airport is embracing the approach to achieve net zero operations by 2030 and we are proud to lead by example and help drive collective progress across the business to support a more sustainable practice," said Hannah Pollard, head of sustainability at Bristol Airport.

The new adjustments will be rolled out across the airport's supply chain in a structured process.
