Recycled Steel Printing Products

Canon Inc. has officially announced its plans to produce products using recycled steel materials. The brand produces products for its office multifunction devices (MFDs), home inkjet printers, large-format inkjet printers, and commercial printing presses. After this successful launch, the company will focus on gradually increasing the number of its products that use recycled steel.

Notably, Canon has partnered with Tokyo Steel to create a more sustainable supply chain and support the swap to steel. Under this collaboration, Canon will provide steel scrap to Tokyo Steel and then use it to produce electric furnace steel sheets. Canon will incorporate these eco-friendly materials into its product development, design, and manufacturing processes—helping to recycle valuable resources and reduce waste.
