Set to debut in late Fall 2025, this certification aims to elevate careers in greenhouse gas accounting, reporting, and verification -- at a time when the global demand for climate action is surging. As governments and corporations sharpen their focus on net-zero goals, ESG reporting, and compliance with evolving carbon regulations, the EP®(GHG) designation provides a standardized benchmark for professional competency and ethics in GHG management. It offers a structured pathway for environmental professionals to demonstrate their expertise and contribute meaningfully to climate solutions. Backed by GHGMI’s global network and ECO Canada’s industry leadership, this initiative fills a critical gap in the environmental workforce, ensuring professionals are equipped to lead on carbon strategy, analysis, and innovation in a rapidly transforming sector.
