GUNNAR Optiks Debuts a New Frame Using Carbon-Fibre and Italian Acetate

GUNNAR Optiks has expanded its lineup of blue and UV light-blocking eyewear with the launch of its newest frame, the Tioga. Inspired by the beauty of Lake Tioga, this model blends craftsmanship and function, showcasing what the company calls the “pinnacle of GUNNAR engineering.”
The Tioga frame features a modern round design crafted from premium materials, including Italian acetate and lightweight carbon-fiber reinforced wood, available in Maroon Rosewood and Gray Crystal Walnut finishes.
Like all GUNNAR glasses, the Tioga is fitted with mineral glass lenses the same type used in high-end cameras and telescopes. These lenses deliver outstanding optical clarity while resisting scratches and shattering. Each pair is also equipped with GUNNAR’s patented lens technology and G-Shield coating, which help block harmful blue and UV light, reduce digital eye strain, and protect against smudges and everyday wear.
