John Deere Taps DeLaval for the New Milk Sustainability Center
Kanesa D — October 15, 2024References: morningagclips & deere
The newly launched Milk Sustainability Center, a collaborative initiative between John Deere and DeLaval, offers an innovative digital ecosystem that integrates agronomic and animal performance data into a cohesive farmer platform.
This advanced platform empowers dairy farmers to monitor critical metrics such as nutrient use efficiency (NUE) and carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2) emissions across their entire operation, including their livestock, land, and overall farm management. By centralizing animal and agronomic data, the Milk Sustainability Center provides valuable insights that enable farmers to optimize nutrient utilization, ultimately enhancing productivity and environmental stewardship. The tool uses agronomic data from the John Deere Operations Center™ and animal data from the DeLaval system.
This service is available for free to a select group of dairy farmers based in the U.S., Netherlands, and Germany.
