Marking its fifth anniversary, the Miu Miu Upcycled collection returns and introduces its first-ever creative collaborator, Academy Award-winning costume, production, and set designer Catherine Martin.
This latest chapter of Miu Miu Upcycled is divided into three distinct themes, each built around a curated category of vintage garments sourced from specialized vendors across the globe. Every piece is meticulously restored, deconstructed, and reimagined, giving new life to materials once considered past their prime.
The Marinier line repurposes vintage denim and classic Breton-striped tees, skillfully patchworked into modern jeans and jackets. The Evening edit reinterprets old vintage blazers, embellishing them with custom crest patches, grosgrain ribbons, and pairing them with airy slip dresses made from repurposed vintage lingerie. Finally, Foulard features unique halter tops and flowing skirts crafted entirely from vintage silk scarves.
