Entirely Recyclable Hoodies

The adidas by Stella McCartney Infinite Hoodie was created with Evrnu and its NuCycl technology, which is said to turn "old clothing into new, high-quality raw materials for the creation of new clothes." Like adidas and Stella McCartney, a number of forward-thinking brands are now exploring how to support a circular economy and 100% recyclable products to divert waste from landfills.

The Infinite Hoodie is comprised of 60% NuCycl and 40% organic cotton. The process of repurposing garment waste involves creating a pulp that's then liquified and then "pushed out of a 3D-printer-like extruder to form new yarn."

Thanks to its composition, the hoodie design not only boasts a unique look but also performance features that the materials couldn't previously offer in their original forms.
