'Recycle the Runway' is the latest sustainability-focused project from Visa, spotlighting the growing movement toward circular fashion. In collaboration with the London College of Fashion, this initiative supports emerging designers committed to sustainable business models. Aimed at fashion entrepreneurs early in their careers, the program rewards innovative approaches to resale, repair, rental, and other regenerative practices.

Six standout finalists will receive a share of a £20,000 prize pool, mentorship from industry professionals and recognition from one of the world’s leading fashion institutions. The initiative culminates in a central London runway event this May, where finalists will present eco-conscious collections judged by a panel including artist Sophie Tea and Visa representatives.

Part of the global Visa Young Creators series, Recycle the Runway aims to shift fashion norms by encouraging recommerce as a desirable, everyday choice. By investing in early-stage brands rooted in sustainability, Visa is helping the next generation of creators build lasting impact through conscious design.
