Sustainable Landscaping Partnerships
Husqvarna and the Daniel Stowe Conservancy Partner
Kalin Ned — September 26, 2025Husqvarna has entered into a collaborative sustainable landscaping agreement with the Daniel Stowe Conservancy, a 380-acre botanical garden and nature preserve located near the company's North American base in Charlotte, North Carolina. The central objective of this partnership is to promote environmentally conscious landscape management practices.
As the designated equipment supplier, Husqvarna will furnish the Daniel Stowe Conservancy with a selection of its products. A specific focus will be placed on transitioning the gardens' maintenance operations toward solutions that produce lower noise and zero emissions during use — from battery-powered tools to automated robotic mowers.
The sustainable landscaping initiative extends beyond mere equipment provision to include joint community engagement activities, volunteer programs, and advisory committee participation. This collaboration is framed within the context of Husqvarna's broader corporate sustainability targets, which include reducing carbon emissions and introducing products based on circular economy principles.
