Controlled Agriculture Farms

Little Leaf Farms Expands with a Tennessee Campus

Little Leaf Farms’ new Tennessee Campus marks a major eco-friendly expansion of its indoor farming operations. Located in Manchester, the 215-acre site will begin with 40 acres of greenhouses, expandable to 80. Using controlled environment agriculture, the campus will "grow leafy greens year-round with 90% less water, no chemical pesticides, and a reduced carbon footprint. Construction starts in summer 2025, with opening planned for fall 2026."

This sustainable approach means fresher greens with less environmental impact, serving the Midwest, Southeast, and Texas. Over the next five years, the site will also create hundreds of new jobs. Little Leaf Farms, which already holds over "50% of the U.S. indoor lettuce market," continues to lead in delivering healthy, local produce grown responsibly. Ultimately, the Tennessee Campus helps make clean, green food more accessible while protecting natural resources for future generations.
