Wastewater Purifying Solutions

Veolia Water Technologies has introduced wastewater reuse solutions for PetStar, a leading PET collection and recycling company in Mexico, bringing it one step closer to achieving water neutrality.

Launched earlier this year, the project equips PetStar with the capability to reclaim and purify up to 550 cubic meters of wastewater daily, significantly cutting down its reliance on underground water sources. The system ensures that treated water meets the stringent NOM-001-SEMARNAT-2021 quality standards, reinforcing the recycler’s commitment to sustainable operations.
