Regeneratively Grown Flour Initiatives

Shake Shack and Wildfarmed Announce a New Partnership
Kanesa D — June 3, 2025Shake Shack is expanding into climate-conscious dining with its latest move: a partnership with Wildfarmed to introduce regeneratively grown flour into its iconic buns. As of May 23, all UK Shack locations will be serving buns made with 25% Wildfarmed flour — a significant step in the brand’s ongoing Stand For Something Good® mission.
Wildfarmed’s flour, grown in the UK using nature-first regenerative agriculture, not only delivers the same beloved taste but also helps boost biodiversity, build healthier soil, and curb pollution and carbon emissions. With this deliciously sustainable update, Shake Shack becomes one of the first fine-casual restaurant chains to bring regenerative farming to the table.
“We are so proud to partner with Wildfarmed to offer our UK customers an even more sustainable experience. This decision reflects our commitment to doing what's right over what’s easy — making a greater investment to support better farming practices, ingredient transparency and a more sustainable future for food. Better still, Shake Shack’s iconic burger buns will taste the same they always have," said Shake Shack Business Director, Richard Franks.
