Bertolli Launches an 100% rPET Bottle for its Olive Oil

Bertolli, one of the world’s most recognized olive oil brands, has introduced a significant step forward in sustainable packaging with the launch of its new 100% recycled PET (rPET) bottle. Bertolli states that this change supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030, aligning with global targets for a more sustainable future.

In addition to updating its standard olive oil packaging, Bertolli has also rolled out its Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dress & Drizz product in the same 100% rPET bottle. The brand notes this is a first-of-its-kind innovation, offering what it describes as the only olive oil in this type of fully recycled bottle. Beyond its environmental benefits, the new packaging was designed with the consumer in mind, featuring an ergonomic shape for a comfortable grip and improved dosage control for more effortless pouring.
