Cardboard Device Packaging

Coastal Source has updated its packaging to be more eco-friendly, aligning with the upcoming debut of its EVO outdoor lighting solutions. The new Coastal Source packaging is composed of recycled cardboard cartons, eliminating the plastic inserts, baggies, and bubble wrap commonly used for these products. The packaging update also allows consumers to recycle components easier through street or backyard channels, preventing them from ending up in landfills.

“Our technical sales team took note of the dealer feedback we received regarding the excessive amount of packaging that came with each order. It was a real pain point for them. The abundance of non-biodegradable material ended up in dumpsters, creating unnecessary costs and adding time to waste disposal processes. Moreover, the jobsites themselves were messy, which diminished the professional image that dealers work hard to maintain,” comments Aja Ferretti, Coastal Source technical specialist,
