Sustainable coffee pods are becoming more commonplace as eco-conscious consumers seek greener alternatives, and for tea lovers, Mad Tea debuted the first 100% compostable tea pods.
The Nespresso-compatible tea pods are made from PHA-based bioplastics, offering a convenient and sustainable way for tea lovers to enjoy quality brews at home with minimal waste. These industrially compostable tea pods make the most of a proprietary strain of bacteria that creates bioplastics, and it's natural and non-toxic to humans and wildlife. What's more, it breaks down completely without leaving traces of microplastics.
Within each pod, there's a mix of premium teas and sweeteners in varieties like Jasmine Milk Tea, Earl Grey, Chamomile Lavender, Thai Milk and Brown Sugar Milk—all of which are vegan and lactose-free.
