Collaborative Fuel Cell Facilities

Conagra Brands and Bloom Energy have partnered to use Bloom Energy's fuel cell technology at Conagra's production facilities in Troy and Archbold, Ohio. The 15-year agreement will "provide about six megawatts of electricity, supplying 70% to 75% of the electricity needs at these two locations; this will also help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 19%."

This collaboration supports Conagra's goal to meet its 2030 greenhouse gas reduction targets, which have been verified by the Science Based Targets Initiative. Bloom’s fuel cells generate reliable and sustainable electricity without combustion, meaning they don’t produce harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, or particulate matter that are common with traditional power sources. This makes the technology cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
