Duja, the upcycling label founded by Ustat Kharbanda, has launched a new collection called 'The Hot Second.' Inspired by bold 90s fashion, the line gives new life to discarded fabrics and pre-consumer waste, turning them into fresh statement pieces.

The collection reworks vintage denim, scrap leather, surplus jerseys, and ribbed knits into denim-on-denim looks, oversized tailoring, cropped tanks, cargo-style shorts, and designs with raw, deconstructed seams. Subtle Indian hand techniques are employed throughout, demonstrating that discarded materials still possess beauty, value, and creative potential.

The brand hopes that with its products, it will be able to demonstrate to other industry leaders that sustainability is not just a fleeting trend, but the future of the fashion and lifestyle industries.
