Eco-Minded Paperboard Trays

Graphic Packaging International has partnered with Elaborados Naturales, Spain’s premier producer of refrigerated potato products, to launch a groundbreaking paperboard solution to the Spanish retail sector.

The collaboration introduces the first-ever commercially available round-shaped PaperSeal® Shape tray—engineered for compatibility with traditional ovens, microwaves, and medium-sized air fryers. Designed to replace conventional plastic trays, the new format delivers enhanced consumer convenience.

Crafted with less than 10% plastic content, the PaperSeal tray is fully compliant with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). It can be recycled through standard household recycling streams without the need to remove the barrier liner.
