REGENESIS' Innovative Carbonite™ Was Unveiled at SILMO Paris 2025

The eyewear material is composed of a blend of reclaimed plastics collected from coastal environments and a carbon-rich substance derived from agricultural waste. Carbonite™ is engineered to possess high durability and flexibility, with REGENESIS claiming that it outperforms conventional plastics used in the industry. The material is also available in various colors, which ensures flexibility when it comes to style-minded applications.
Recently, the company presented its novel eyewear material as a production-ready option for creating both sport and fashion-oriented glasses at a major optical industry trade show — SILMO Paris 2025. REGENESIS also includes a digital passport for traceability to verify the utilization of a specific quantity of waste and sequestered carbon dioxide.
