Refillable Deodorant Capsules
Make Waves Uses Recycled Plastic to Make Green Deodorant Refills
Kanesa D — January 15, 2026Make Waves showcases a new refillable antiperspirant and deodorant system designed to reduce single-use plastic waste. Each refill capsule is manufactured onshore and made entirely from recycled plastic, while the packaging itself is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
The innovative applicator features a concealed reload mechanism, developed in collaboration with former Dyson engineers, ensuring both functionality and ease of use. To replace a capsule, consumers rotate the applicator’s base by 90 degrees, pinch and remove the old capsule, then insert a new one until it clicks securely into place. Finally, the lid is removed, and the base is reattached.
Each capsule delivers four to eight weeks of use, depending on application frequency. Adding to the convenience, the empty refills can be recycled in household streams.
