Compostable Date Snack Packaging

Sustainable packaging leader Pakka has partnered once again with health food brand Brawny Bear to introduce India’s first energy bar wrapped in compostable flexible packaging. The new Date Energy Bars, made from premium dates and free from added sugars, reflect Brawny Bear’s focus on clean-label nutrition and Pakka’s commitment to reducing packaging waste.

This launch marks Pakka’s strategic entry into flexible, compostable packaging solutions—an evolution of its four-decade legacy in pulp, paper, and moulded tableware. The innovation addresses growing consumer demand for eco-friendly, convenient, and scalable alternatives to traditional plastic packaging.

The collaboration not only expands Brawny Bear’s existing range of date-based products but also sets a new benchmark in sustainable food packaging in the Indian market.
