Hydrogen Energy Distribution Deals

Pure Hydrogen Secured a US$28M Distribution Deal with GreenH2
Colin Smith — April 5, 2025Pure Hydrogen has secured a US$28 million distribution deal with GreenH2 LATAM, a clean energy company based in Mexico City, to supply hydrogen infrastructure for two major projects in Mexico. This agreement, formalized through a Master Supply and Distributor Agreement (MSDA), designates Pure Hydrogen as the preferred supplier for hydrogen equipment, including four 2.5MW electrolysers, hydrogen compression and refueling systems, and advanced storage and transport solutions. The collaboration aligns with Mexico's recent policy shifts toward renewable energy, aiming to increase the share of renewables to 45% of electricity production by 2030. This partnership not only strengthens Pure Hydrogen's presence in Latin America but also supports the region's transition to sustainable energy solutions.
The MSDA also grants GreenH2 LATAM exclusive distribution rights in Mexico and Colombia, contingent on achieving a minimum annual net sales revenue of US$20 million from the sale of Pure Hydrogen-supplied equipment. This deal builds on Pure Hydrogen's recent global distribution efforts and underscores its commitment to advancing hydrogen technology. By leveraging its proven electrolyser technologies and automated manufacturing capabilities, Pure Hydrogen aims to meet the growing demand for green hydrogen infrastructure. This partnership highlights the increasing role of hydrogen in the global energy transition and positions both companies as key players in the development of sustainable energy systems in Latin America.
