Net-Zero Climate-Focused Hotels

Radisson Hotel Launches the New Manchester and Oslo Hotels

Radisson Hotel Group is introducing two net zero hotels in Manchester and Oslo, both verified by TÜV Rheinland for climate-positive assets. These new properties, marketed as cutting-edge due to their ability to meet 2040 climate targets in current times, focus on reducing emissions across the value chain through electrification and 100% renewable energy. Notably, the Manchester location uses heat pumps and induction cooking over gas stoves, and the Oslo hotel utilizes renewable district heating from waste treatment and data centres.

“With the opening of our first two verified net zero hotels, Radisson Hotel Group demonstrates its commitment to net zero 2050 and to showcasing truly sustainable hospitality,” says Inge Huijbrechts, Chief Sustainability & Security Officer at Radisson Hotel Group.
