Certified Zero-Waste Events

SCS Zero Waste Standard Recognizes Dell Technologies’ Events

The SCS Zero Waste Standard has officially certified two Dell Technologies Forum events in India, making them the first globally recognized zero-waste events under this certification. Organized by Kestone Global with support from Saahas Zero Waste, these events in Mumbai and Bangalore achieved impressive waste diversion rates of 98.64% and 92.88%, respectively. The initiative set a new benchmark for sustainable event management by integrating recycling, composting, and waste-to-energy solutions.

The events underwent rigorous third-party verification to achieve certification, including on-site audits to confirm successful waste diversion from landfills. The efforts included reusable event equipment, sorting teams, and clearly marked recycling and compost bins. This approach demonstrates how large-scale events can reduce environmental impact while maintaining high-quality experiences.

The SCS Zero Waste Standard aims to encourage sustainable waste management across industries. Dell Technologies' commitment to sustainability through waste reduction serves as a model for other organizations looking to integrate circular economy principles into their operations and events.
