DuPont Selects Three Brands for the 2025 Tyvek® Award

DuPont has recognized three companies for their achievements in developing more sustainable medical packaging solutions that utilize its Tyvek material. The three winners of the 2025 Tyvek® Sustainable Healthcare Packaging Awards include Evercare, Amcor, and B. Braun Medical.
Evercare's sustainable medical packaging solution includes the Endurance R50 film, which combines 50% post-consumer advanced recycling technology and Tyvek® lidding to provide "superior thermoforming, sealing, and sterilization resistance." Amcor, on the other hand, created a next-generation heat-seal coating with DuPont's material. Finally, B. Braun designed a new sterile barrier system that "liminates 64 metric tons of plastic and 4,400 pounds of paper annually."
These projects share a common focus on minimizing environmental impact through various strategies, such as lowering carbon emissions, reducing material consumption, and enhancing recyclability, while maintaining the strict sterility and integrity requirements for medical devices.
