Suzie Hicks the Climate Chick is building climate literacy -- and emotional resilience -- for kids through an engaging new show called 'Suzie Hicks the Climate Chick and Sprout.' Created for children ages 5 to 10, the series fills a critical gap in children's media by tackling climate change with optimism, age-appropriate science, and creative storytelling. At its core is Suzie, a lively educator-scientist, and Sprout, a curious sunflower puppet just beginning to understand the world.
The show, which premiered during Earth Month 2025, combines fun songs with big ideas, such as solar energy and greenhouse gases, always paired with hopeful solutions. Beyond YouTube episodes, Hicks has rolled out curriculum resources, classroom programming, and even live festivals to deepen climate conversations among young learners and their families.
With plans underway for more episodes and nationwide expansion, Suzie Hicks the Climate Chick is becoming a trusted voice in children’s environmental education.
