The Ritz Paris Unveils its Line of 40 New Upcycled Tote Bags

The Ritz Paris has introduced a limited run of 40 upcycled tote bags, each crafted from the hotel’s archived upholstery fabrics. Using textiles once featured in curtains, cushions, wall coverings, and other décor originally curated by Marie-Louise Ritz, the collection fuses the hotel’s Louis XV-inspired heritage with a modern, minimalist design.
Every tote is handmade in Cambrai, embroidered with the Ritz Paris crest, and finished in soft tones such as blue, cream, yellow, or pink. Produced through 21 meticulous steps and nearly two hours of handwork—including embroidery by one of France’s last traditional artisans—each bag is individually numbered.
The collection spans 40 units, each with dimensions of 36 x 27.5 x 16.5 cm. They are available exclusively at the Ritz Paris boutique.
