AI-Driven Water-Cleanup Technologies
ECOPEACE Trials Its Technology in Singapore and Dubai
Kalin Ned — January 6, 2026The South Korean environmental technology firm ECOPEACE has announced it is initiating the first international operational trials of its AI-driven water-cleanup technology. The tests will commence in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
ECOPEACE's central water-cleanup technology consists of a unified system that merges self-operating aquatic robotics with continuous data analysis — dubbed the ECOBOT platform — and specialized filtration equipment. These robotic units are engineered to perform tasks such as the removal of algal blooms and floating contaminants from reservoirs, rivers, and urban water features, while simultaneously gathering and transmitting information on water composition. A key component of the system is a filtration mechanism that employs fine metal mesh and electrochemical processes to treat large quantities of water. The innovation boasts an automated cleaning cycle to maintain efficiency. An artificial intelligence platform synthesizes the incoming sensor data to dynamically control the robotic fleet and adjust treatment parameters in real time.
