Refillable Repurposed Plastic Pens

In 2024, Tom's Studio launched the Wren as an infinitely refillable alternative to throwaway pens, and in 2025, the Wren Write Off is joining the brand's product family as a pen made from discarded pens.

The Wren Write Off retains beloved features of the original best-selling Wren, such as its infinitely refillable ink reservoir, replaceable fibre tip, and mix-and-match lids and bodies for custom color combinations. In all, five marbled colorways—Smoke, Funfetti, Apricot, Ink, and Nimbus—are available, each featuring a different blend of waste plastic.

Every year, it's estimated that nine billion disposable pens are thrown away around the world, and just like the pen that inspired it, the Wren Write Off was intentionally made to be used, reused, and cherished for a lifetime.
