British designer Faye Toogood continues to expand her influence in interiors following the launch of Studio Toogood, now partnering with Casa Tacchini for a new exhibit.

At Milan Design Week, she presents 'Material Anthology' in collaboration with Tacchini—a site-specific installation that merges furniture, art, and material experimentation. Featuring expanded pieces from her 'Butter' collection alongside paintings and sculptures made from Tacchini’s archival offcuts, the showcase emphasizes upcycling and hands-on craftsmanship.

The exhibition reflects Toogood’s evolving design approach, blurring the line between functional objects and artistic expression while aligning with growing industry focus on circular, material-led design.

“Traditionally customers love or hate our furniture designs; they’re polarizing — some say iconic — we don’t design for the middle. A good piece of design should draw you in, make you want it and feel passionate about it," said Toogood in a statement.
