Sustainable Modular Hotels

CIMC Modular Building Systems (CIMC MBS) has signed a pivotal agreement to construct The Earth Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking its inaugural hospitality venture in the Middle East. This project highlights CIMC MBS’s dedication to sustainable construction and its role in redefining hospitality through modular innovation.

The Earth Hotel, developed in partnership with the design-forward and sustainability-focused Earth Hotels brand, will be "a three-story, four-star boutique property encompassing 11,000 square meters." Set for completion in 2026, the hotel will be located in Riyadh’s Al Maathar district, a central area close to major landmarks and the Diplomatic Quarter.

The property will feature 86 distinctive rooms, lofts, and suites, blending contemporary comfort with cultural expression. Earth Riyadh aims to offer more than accommodation—delivering an immersive, purpose-led guest experience rooted in local identity and global sustainability values, establishing a new benchmark in environmentally conscious modular hospitality development.
