Davis Commodities Expands Into The ESG Commodities Market
Georgia Wray Norsten — July 1, 2025Singapore-based Davis Commodities Ltd. unveiled an ambitious plan to expand into premium ESG-certified agricultural commodities, aiming to capture a share of a market projected to exceed $500 billion by 2030.
The company will invest in sourcing high-value sustainable products -- such as Bonsucro-certified sugar, Fairtrade/ISCC rice, and RSPO-certified palm oil -- which command price premiums for adhering to rigorous social and environmental standards. Over the next two years, Davis expects the initiative to add $180 - 220 million in annual revenue and boost profit margins by 200 - 300 basis points.
The strategy includes forging partnerships with global distributors and rolling out certified sugar trading by Q1 2026, followed by certified rice and edible oils later in 2026. By leveraging blockchain traceability and a phased approach that minimizes capital expenditures, Davis Commodities aims to meet the surging demand for sustainably sourced agricultural products.
