Sustainable Insulated Jute Bags

Ecocool GmbH is broadening its range of sustainable insulated packaging solutions with the introduction of several products made from environmentally friendly jute.

Among the new additions is the JuteBag, a temperature-controlled shipping solution constructed from multiple layers of natural jute fibers and finished with an outer layer of recycled cotton. The company is also introducing the JuteBox within the Kompackt series—a shipping container featuring a jute-based insulated liner designed for the transport of premium refrigerated and frozen goods.

The JuteBag features multi-layered jute fibers that create air pockets for natural thermal insulation, comparable to traditional styrofoam. The cotton fleece outer layer accounts for under 5% of the weight, and an optional FSC-certified cardboard box is available. Fully biodegradable, the JuteBag can go in organic waste, compost, or general disposal, while the cardboard is recyclable.

The product is available in L: 800 x 730 mm, up to 30 kg; M: 680 x 600 mm, up to 20 kg; S: 550 x 480 mm, up to 12 kg; and XS: 430 x 390 mm, up to 3 kg.
