This new wool insulation packaging has been announced by Kite Packaging as the latest addition to its chilled range to help customers ensure their temperature-sensitive shipments will arrive intact. The packaging is rated to maintain a temperature range that will keep chilled foods fresh for up to 48-hours, while its biodegradable and compostable wool layer is paired with a recyclable MDPE liner for reduced waste. The material will come in box liners, flat pouches and more to accommodate customers who need a complete packaging solution.

The wool insulation packaging from Kite Packaging leverages the natural material's inherent ability to trap air and slow heat transfer to maximize capabilities without having to rely completely on synthetic fibers.
