Ecopax is expanding its Bethlehem, Pennsylvania manufacturing and warehousing operations with a 104,238 square‑foot addition to its existing 315,643 square‑foot facility, a project managed by developer J.G. Petrucci that adds six loading docks and 12 truck parking spaces to support increased logistics capacity and throughput as demand for sustainable packaging grows. This shows a broader support for sustainable packaging throughout the retail industry at large.

The expansion includes infrastructure upgrades such as enhanced fire protection with two new hydrants and expanded water lines, and is presented as a response to rising demand for the company’s eco‑friendly foodservice packaging—products that include takeout containers, hot and cold paper cups and bowls, and bags produced with energy‑efficient processes and eco‑conscious materials; Ecopax is identified as a certified minority‑owned manufacturer headquartered in the Lehigh Valley.
