Plastic-Made Faux Furs

Future Fur's Faux Fur Products are Made from Recycled Plastic Bottles

Eco-conscious brand Future Fur has unveiled a new collection of plush throws crafted entirely from recycled plastic bottles.

Founded by Ena Pelly, Tim Wilkins, Dani Pelly, and podcaster Ellidy Pullin, the Geelong-based brand specializes in sewn, brushed, and hand-packed products featuring double-sided faux fur in rabbit and sherpa styles. The throws are designed to be soft, durable, and machine washable, with versatile materials suitable for household and pet products. Each throw repurposes over 60 plastic bottles, and the company projects that more than 1.2 million bottles will be kept out of landfills within its first three years.

Future Fur is also committing 5% of profits from each throw to One Village Plastic Free, supporting initiatives to reduce plastic waste in Bali.
