SAYA Fibre is a sustainable recycled polyester brand developed by Nan Ya Plastics, a subsidiary of the Formosa Plastics Group. The SAYA product line converts post-consumer PET materials and textile waste into high-performance mono-material fibers, facilitating full recyclability at the end of each product’s life cycle. This process incorporates AI-assisted separation technology and an eco-friendly decolorization step, followed by optimized spinning methods to ensure consistent fiber quality and transparency within the supply chain.

By employing Chromach dyeing—which reduces water consumption by up to 97% compared to traditional methods—and adhering to a mono-material design philosophy, SAYA Fibre cuts greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 72% versus virgin polyester production. The initiative has recycled approximately 5.9 billion PET bottles in 2020 and 8.7 billion in 2021, thereby supporting circular supply chains and contributing to significant resource conservation in the textile industry.
