Eco-Conscious Nylon Yarns

Taekwang Industry has officially launched ACECOOL-BIO, South Korea’s first eco-friendly nylon yarn developed using plant-based raw materials. The announcement furthers the company’s sustainability journey and the broader push toward greener innovation in the Korean textile sector.

ACECOOL-BIO offers enhanced moisture absorption and breathability, making it an ideal material for sportswear, functional innerwear, and lightweight workwear for warm climates. The yarn also demonstrates a more efficient dyeing process with improved color vibrancy and reduced energy consumption. Most notably, the carbon emissions generated during production are less than half of those produced by conventional cool-touch fibers.

With the launch of ACECOOL-BIO, Taekwang Industry sets the stage for additional sustainable fiber innovations, with more product releases planned for the latter half of the year.
