FREITAG Expands Its Global Retail Presence with a New Pop-Up

The Zurich-based sustainable fashion brand FREITAG has expanded its global retail presence with a distinctive pop-up in Lucerne, Switzerland. The activation reinforces the company's commitment to environmental consciousness through both product and retail design.
Located within the culturally vibrant Bourbaki center — a hub combining libraries, cinemas, and art spaces, FREITAG's store occupies a 100-square-meter space and offers around 2,000 unique upcycled bags and accessories. What sets this location apart is its immersive, industrial-chic aesthetic, which was constructed entirely from repurposed materials such as plasterboard, construction lighting, steel-frame furniture, and tension belts. The store also boasts a checkout counter fashioned from a retired architectural plan stand.
FREITAG's expanded global retail presence aligns with its upcycling ethos while creating a tactile, experiential shopping environment that resonates with eco-conscious consumers.
