Hydro Expands its Recycled Content-Based Hydro Circal Line

Aluminum company Norsk Hydro is serving its customers better by now offering its Hydro Circal-branded aluminum in extrusion ingot and foundry alloy formats. Operating across the United States and Europe, Norsk Hydro's Circal uses at least 75 percent post-consumer scrap content to help automotive companies craft wheels, battery boxes, and other structural or engine-based components without additional emissions and with the environment in mind.
“Hydro Circal has set the benchmark for recycled aluminum since its launch in 2019,” says Hanne Simensen, an executive vice president at Hydro. “We are excited to create new tailor-made solutions for our customers that support their ambitious decarbonization roadmaps.”
