Indian-Made Gypsum Panels

Knauf India, a global leader in drywall and ceiling solutions, has introduced its latest innovation for the construction industry: GIFAfloor. This next-generation raised flooring system is designed to move builders away from time-consuming, water-intensive cement floors. Built with high-density, non-combustible gypsum fibre core panels, the system offers both strength and safety while opening up flexibility in design. Each panel is factory-primed on both sides and can be finished with a range of top layers, including tile, vinyl, wood, or carpet, providing architects and homeowners with numerous options to match their space.

When it comes to installation, the system comes as a complete kit, including panels, adhesive, pedestals, and gaskets, making setup faster and more straightforward compared to traditional flooring. Since it doesn’t require water or curing, the process significantly reduces construction time while also being more environmentally friendly.
