LONGi has Introduced the Hi-MO X10 Light Design Module

The Hi-MO X10 Light Design Module by LONGi is a new lightweight solar panel that was designed specifically for rooftops with limited load-bearing capacity.
The innovation addresses a significant barrier in the adoption of solar energy. Traditional solar installations often require costly structural reinforcements, particularly on older industrial and commercial buildings, which can be both expensive and time-consuming. The Hi-MO X10 Light Design Module weighs just 7.2 kg per square meter, which translates to a 30% reduction compared to conventional panels. With a maximum efficiency of 24.8% and a power output of 560W, the lightweight solar panel outperforms many existing lightweight alternatives, which typically hover around 21% efficiency. Additionally, the module incorporates enhanced structural durability, including reinforced framing and improved mechanical distribution. This will allow it to withstand environmental stresses such as strong winds and heavy snow.
