Inaugural Sustainable Design Events

Nouaceur Innovation Lab will host its inaugural Design Day, a one‑day convening focused on sustainable building practices and low‑carbon construction tailored to Morocco’s climatic and material contexts. The programme brings together architects, engineers, researchers, students, manufacturers, and public‑sector representatives to present design prototypes, material demonstrations, and case studies that emphasize climate‑responsive design, circularity in building materials, and strategies for reducing embodied and operational carbon in the built environment.

Event activities include panel discussions, hands‑on workshops, and site demonstrations intended to accelerate knowledge transfer and pilot project development, alongside opportunities for networking and industry‑academic collaboration to scale locally appropriate innovations. The Lab frames Design Day as an initial step in a broader agenda to foster cross‑sector partnerships, inform policy and procurement practices, and support the translation of research into deployable solutions for sustainable urban and rural construction.
