Danish startup Wasted makes upcycled Casarecce di Pane pasta from bread waste, turning surplus into a nourishing product that's 100% vegan-friendly, and bronze-die extruded for a texture that naturally clings to sauces. True to its mission, Wasted Pasta made with 25% rescued bread waste is sold in packaging crafted from 100% recyclable paper.

Beyond the impact made by upcycling ingredients and fighting food waste, for every kilogram of Wasted Pasta sold, one portion is donated to a local organization feeding food-insecure community members. To date, over 5,500 portions of Wasted Pasta have been donated to people in need.

Currently, Wasted Pasta is exclusively available in the EU, but consumers in the UK and the United States are encouraged to keep an eye on the startup for future updates.
