Refurbished Appliance Programs
Beko Reduce-Refurbish-Recycle Extends Product Lifecycles
Laura McQuarrie — September 30, 2025Beko is scaling up its Reduce-Refurbish-Recycle Program, bringing more value to households, supporting circularity and increasing access to second-life Beko appliances via outlet shops and partner routes. Beko's Reduce-Refurbish-Recycle Program first and foremost begins with customer service, and most appliance issues can be resolved remotely or during an engineer visit. Beyond that, appliances—across washing, cooking, cooling and drying categories—that are deemed suitable for refurbishment are tested, repaired with genuine parts, graded, and re-audited to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
"Refurbishment is about more than repairing appliances—it's about extending lifecycles, reducing waste, and giving consumers access to reliable, affordable products," said Fatih Özkadı, Chief Sustainability, Quality and Customer Care Officer. In 2024 alone, over 114,000 appliances were refurbished globally, preventing waste through dedicated refurbishment centers in the UK, Italy, and Romania.
