Reju and Circle-8 Textile Ecosystems have partnered to improve textile recycling in the U.K. Circle-8 will supply Reju with post-consumer textile waste, sorted and pre-processed at its new high-tech Automated Textile Sorting and Preprocessing (ATSP) facility. This waste will then be sent to Reju’s upcoming European Regeneration Hubs, where "it will be turned into Reju Polyester™—a recycled material with 50% less carbon impact than traditional polyester and the ability to be regenerated over and over again."

This partnership helps build a stronger recycling infrastructure in the U.K. and supports a fully circular, fiber-to-fiber system. By creating a reliable and scalable process for turning old clothes into new materials, Reju and Circle-8 aim to "reduce the 700,000 tons of non-reusable textile waste produced each year." Their work also encourages more U.K. brands and retailers to shift toward sustainable, circular fashion solutions.
