Electrify America and Royal Farms are expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Maryland, with new installations planned at eight Royal Farms locations. The charging stations will "be equipped with Hyper-Fast chargers capable of delivering speeds of up to 350 kW, supporting the growing demand for high-speed charging in convenient, everyday locations."

Two stations—located in Halethorpe and Oxon Hill—are already operational, enabling compatible vehicles to achieve significant charging levels in as little as 20 minutes. Additional sites in Annapolis, Catonsville, Charlotte Hall, Columbia, Pikesville, and Towson are scheduled to open soon, bringing the collaboration to more than 55 individual chargers across the state.

These installations will join Electrify America’s nationwide network of over 1,000 stations and 5,000 chargers. By pairing rapid charging capabilities with Royal Farms’ amenities, including fresh food and beverages, the partnership enhances driver convenience while advancing the adoption of zero-emission transportation.
