Eco-Friendly Window Partnerships

Saint-Gobain is Working with NorDan Group on Sustainable Windows

Saint-Gobain in Poland and NorDan Group have established a strategic partnership to develop sustainable window solutions for the construction industry. The collaboration integrates NorDan’s wood-based frames from its GreenTech® range with Saint-Gobain’s ORAÉ® glass, a product designed with a reduced carbon footprint. This combination is further enhanced by energy-efficient coatings such as ECLAZ® or COOL-LITE® SKN176, contributing to lower overall greenhouse gas emissions associated with window installations. The initiative supports both companies’ commitment to sustainable development by addressing decarbonization challenges in the building sector while promoting the principles of the circular economy.

The partnership aims to deliver a low-carbon window solution that serves both market demands and environmental standards. By leveraging the combined expertise of both organizations, the collaboration is positioned to offer products that reduce the global warming potential during both manufacturing and operational phases. This approach not only meets increasing regulatory requirements and industry expectations for sustainability but also demonstrates a commitment to advancing research and development in sustainable construction. The partnership is part of a broader effort to support stakeholders—including developers, investors, and architects—in constructing buildings with a minimized environmental impact.
